Tuna For Two Poke Bowls.

This delicious poke bowl premiered during a Birthday Week. Enjoy with cucumber salad

Ingredients

  • 250g sushi grade ahi tuna, cut into 1/2” cubes
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1-1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 3/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tsp sesame seeds, plus extra for garnish
  • 3/4 cup white rice, cooked
  • 1-1/2 cups mixed salad greens


Toppings

  • Avocado
  • Mango
  • Edamame beans
  • Plain yogurt
  • Sliced cucumber
  • Shredded carrots
  • Pickled ginger
  • Wasabi

    Instructions

    1. Marinade the tuna. Combine cubed tuna, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, green onions, and sesame seeds. Place in the fridge. 
    2. Cook the rice.
    3. Create the poke bowls! Use the cooked rice as a base, then add marinated tuna, salad, and desired toppings to each bowl. Serve and enjoy immediately.
